This might actually be a good answer. Since buying my e39 M5 a year ago, the only person to ever try to race me was a fox body Mustang. That and one Civic a few days after I bought the car but I didn't bite.

The boy racer thing never leaves some people. My grandfather is 78 and still loves racing around. He drives his brand new Town and Country minivan just as hard as his 85 Ferrari 308 GTSi.
    Current fleet:
    1999 BMW e36 M3
1999 BMW e36 328is with rotary valve engine head
    1999 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight
    1990 Jeep Comanche Eliminator
    1962 Austin Healey Sprite

right. probably why ive always admired M cars, but never really considered owning one. I prefer non - m cars with turbos . cheaper overall and faster

people see an m badge and figure your a doosh with a kinda fast car that you probably don't know how to drive. or you just badged up your low model bmw and put rims on it.
