if so...SMALL PACKAGE FREIGHT CHARGES WILL BE INCREASING ALOT !!!!
Use of Dimensional Weight Soon to Include All Domestic Ground Shipments
Using package dimensions to calculate billable weight for freight charges is not new. It has been used for domestic and international air freight charges for years. It was then expanded to include packages greater than 5,184 cubic inches [3 cubic feet] shipped by ground service. What’s new is that it will soon be used for ALL ground shipments starting December 29, 2014 [UPS] and January 1, 2015 [FedEx]. It is expected that this change will increase freight charges on more than 1/3 of all ground shipments in the U.S. Based on calculations by FedEx and Amazon, shipment costs are expected to increase a few percent up to 41% per shipment. In general, it’s true that many auto parts weigh enough to exceed dimensional weight calculations. However there are also many products that will not.

Awesome.
Life is like a car wash and I'm on a bicycle.
The price of fuel is going up and the price to operate a huge fleet of trucks and airplanes is going up so... I would expect the price of shipping to go up.
