Has anyone lengthened or moved back the drivers seat track? Being 6'2" I'm pretty close to being OK when seated but it's still a bit close, plus if I had an extra inch or two it would make getting in and out easier for this getting old(er) body. LOL

Welcome to the forum John.
What I've found is that at least some seats (such as in my cabrios) have a plate screwed to the bottom of the track which acts as a stop. You can either shorten or I'd think remove it altogether and gain a bit of movement. The other option is to lower the seat bottom by pushing down on the rear lever which also has the effect of movie it back a bit. Between those 2 you may be able to avoid a cut and weld.

I'm 6'2 and find that the seat goes back far enough. In fact I usually do put it back all the way. I do lower the seat to it lowest setting however. Are you sure you have it lowered and back as far as it goes?

I've had the car 14 years and like I said, once I'm in it's 98% OK. I dropped it an inch and a half recently
and it's surprising to me at the difference it makes in access. My only reason is to make it a bit easier getting in and out. Being on the high side of 60 doesn't help either. I'm sure of the setting of the seat though. An extra inch or two will help out.

Interesting... I'm 6'3" and my seat isn't pushed back all the way. And my in-seam is 34". Long in the leg, are you?
