Weather in the AM was great at right around 70. I had rewired my cooling fans so they come on earlier and that may have helped. Also, the car was cool from sitting for 45 minutes while they ran 3 other classes. And I ran the drag radials several psi higher than in the past. But no change to anything else. ET was also my best. Both my runs were new records for me for both ET and MPH. Butters should have gone first (we share the tires so only one of us can run at a time).
Pbonsalb is a track hog. If it was 50 degrees and raining, im sure he would have let me go first.
In reality, I enjoy watching him and the rest of the gang rip down the track. Im around cars all day, everyday. These guys don't get that luxury, they have real jobs ; ) so its nice to see others share the same passion.
