Noticed that there is an air rushing noise when I step on the brake pedal, kind of like a bicycle pump. Is that normal, or is it a bad booster? Maybe a vacuum leak?
Edit: found an excellent link. Someone did bench bleeding of the master cylinder, diagnostic laptop bleeding, and checked the pads, discovered it was leaking bleed screws: http://www.eatsleeptinker.com/2014/0...cle-2013-2014/

Bled my brakes with a diagnostic laptop running DIS. Accidentally bled it dry, so had to bleed it again. I only tested my pedal briefly, but the pedal is stiff even with the engine on. Maybe 2.5 inches of light resistance travel and then a firm pedal. I'm pretty satisfied with the results for now. Maybe one day I'll put on some stainless lines.
Better look into those ss braided lines. They don't have a great track record compared to the oe rubber.

Fresh OE rubber lines can feel just about as good as SS lines w better fitment compared to ageing 15+ year old equipment.

Now that i think about it, I'm surprised that so many vendors sell "upgrades" that are perhaps better than aged OEM but the same or worse than fresh OEM. Just meeting demand, I guess...
Sometimes the products are indeed an improvement... sometimes they arent, and wind up costing you extra in the long run... sometimes they are just plain unsafe. Gotta do as much research as possible.
Regardless of how well the products perform, I simply refuse to believe that any aftermarket product has more engineering behind it than OEM. Especially the 6th company is on the 9th version of a pick-your-color poly bushing or whatever...
However, you Really have to try to make your product WORSE that totally clapped out OE stuff!
