Well this sucks. Pulling out of post office today and slam! 80 year old backs right into the rear passenger 1/4 panel of my e36 328i vert.

Thought I'd share the drama. Thankfully he is insured. Any other dumb location crash stories?
2 weeks ago my brother borrowed my mustang and while leaving the store some 80+ year old lady ran a stop sign and hit him in the front passenger tire. strut tower is pushed into the header.

Was at a local American Legion post for a wedding reception. It was the last snowy night this year, some person trying to leave the very steep driveway to this place slid backwards while trying to drive forwards and manged to slide into the rear quarter panel of our e38. The e38 got pinned between the sliding car and a Ford Windstar. With the slush on the ground the rear end of the e38 slid into and dented the minivan's sliding door 5 inches in, the rear bumper of the e38 exploded into big pieces of plastic. The body shop did an amazing job pulling out the dent, you would never know it was damaged.
Pic of damage:

1999 BMW e36 328is with rotary valve engine head

I have a thread with more damage and repaired photos here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...Fixed%29/page2
This is the same panel, they managed to pull the dent out. It does have a new bumper, trim pieces, and tail light. I am very impressed with the outcome, it looks perfect.

Whoa that does look amazing for fix, hm my paint is missing though =(. Plus this poor fender has gotten hit twice by 2 other cars trying to park in the last 3 years. So I think this hit will be the fixing time! And no more crashes!
