    BMW 1996 Z3 1.9, 1995 m3

    BMW E30 M3 Track Car.

    Just picked as a Barn find a 88 M3 dedicated track car. It was a winning car in the SCCA. Bought and built by a guy from Georgia. I have actually spoken with him on the phone. He was amazed when I told him I had just bought it. We carried on a conversation for over an hour. It was fun Hearing someone transform from a who D Hell are you tone to a 12 year old boy. He offered to buy it back, but was very happy that I plan to restore it to its former glory and put it back on the track for a few events and then I will give him a chance to buy.
    The Car is really straight one spot of rust that I have to fix about the size of a 50cent piece. I put it on a lift not one leak or leak trail build up underneath. Clean as a pin. It is going to be a couple of weeks but I intend to get busy soon. I cannot wait. I will post some pics soon. I plan to debut it at the track event at NCCAR July 19th. Not much time. If any of you locals want to swing by and give me some knowledge I will be in my garage every weekend from now until July 19th knocking out the list.

    UPDATE:
    I took some time today and changed all the fluids. Put in a New Battery. Put a little TLC into it. She gave it right back......VROOOOOOM She fired up and started purring. I took it up the road and drives good. I am going to flush the brake fluid in the morning. I will start cleaning up the rest. Going to try to arrange paint this week. Man am I pumped up.

    I have not had the chance to get her painted, but I took it a Track event this past Saturday. She ran perfectly. here is one of the videos with Steve91T chasing me in his E36 M3 Sedan. We had an awesome time.
