Hi, wondering if anybody can help me, I have a 59 plate bmw 320d msport recently purchased from my local car dealer, so has had a service and mot only a couple of weeks ago. There's a small triangle with a exclamation mark inside it with like half an arrow going around the traingle on the dash that keeps lighting up every now and again when I go over speed bumps and when I'm driving on bad roads. Only flashes every now and again but doesn't always do it. Just wondering if I should be worried are wondering if anybody knows what this sign mean? Thanks x
thatd be the traction control light if im not mistaken.

I have carburetors, and I'm not afraid to use them!
There are always other fish (engines) in the sea (Craigslist)
Life is about enjoying the engine you are sitting behind.
Do you lose power when the light comes on?
Life is like a car wash and I'm on a bicycle.
This is traction light. Flashes when it corrects a wheel slippage under acceleration.
It just means it is doing its job and saved you from possibly ending up facing backwards, or at least that's how I interpret the symbol.
Probably all that low end diesel torque causing you to lose traction on uneven roads.

For me means 1 of two things, ether traction control is turned off or traction control engaged itself preventing slip. In your situation just sounds like it detects a slip and prevents it. Again, just means it is working.
