    E46 320d engine vibrate when start, please help.

    Hi I have Bmw 320d 110kw and when I start and turn off engine engine is vibrating shaking knocking. I changed engine mounts new Clutch and flywheel injections replaced and its always the same nothing change. Can anyone tell me where is problem please? Very thanks!!!

    If it only happens when cold and you have already checked / changed injectors, look toward the glow plugs. A bad glow plug will keep that cylinder from firing and will cause an obvious rough idle

    My 330d always idled rougher in cold weather from new, so if it's only a mild vibration that goes away when the engine warms up I wouldn't worry about it. If it is quite noticeable then it probably is glowplug related. Try leaving the ignition on for longer before you first turnover the engine to give the glowplugs more time to heat up and see if that makes a difference.
