    PDC Error...PDC Sensors....

    Hello guys,

I have an E60, and started getting a PDC error, after car had been parked for a while in extreme cold and snow. I washed pdc sensors with pressure washer (not too high pressure), took out pdc module, put it back together and it started working. However, after few days, same thing again....... :|. When I try to hear clicking noise, I hear it in two front sensors...none others.

    I have the following questions,

    1. I see after market PDC sensors going for 15-20 bucks, fraction of dealership or OEM price (over 200, or at least around 80 bucks). Any experience with those?

    2. I read some threads regarding fixing these.. basically cleaning them, using WD 40, hair dryer to take out any moisture... does that actually work?

    Thanks again .

There are OEM PDC sensors for ~ $30-50 on eBay.

Never heard of anyone repairing a PDC sensor. Generally once they go they go. Sorry I cant be of help otherwise - I will never buy a BMW with PDC.
