    Cold starting

    Hello enthusiasts
I am new to brimmed fourums so forgive me if I'm not doing this right ...lol
    i have a 2002 325i that has several issues
one of which is it doesn't like to run when it's cold, at startup is idles rough real rough and sometimes will smooth out on its own but yet other times I have to shut it off and restart it in order to get it to run right. Even sometimes yet it will set off the service engine light,
and when I read the codes it states a misfire on cyl 3 and 5
    Any suggestions ???

Check coils, plugs and plug wires, those will most likely be the cause for cylinder misfires

Also could be the ICV (Idle control valve) that needs cleaning or replacing, or a broken DISA which will need replacing. This really should have been posted in the e46 section. Also google the info we've given you, you will find plenty of information on how to address the issues.
