    bmw 320 i se e 92

    bmw e 92 fault code p0303

    can anyone help i got this fault code p0303 cylinder miss fire i also go a bunch of other codes p0175 faulty coil also p122f p114d p114c p0175 p114d just wondering if i changed the coil on cylinder 3 as there's a miss fire would this cure the problem thanks Andrew

    Swap coils with an adjacent cylinder, clear the codes, and drive it. When the SES light comes back, scan it again. If the code moved with the coil, replace it. If it stays in cylinder 3, look at the plug/injector/etc.

    Wash your pocket p-code reader in gasoline. Then dry it with a match.

    Take your car to someone with a BMW diagnostic computer. You cannot even HOPE to correctly diagnose an E92, using p-codes. I did a brief search of "p0175 bmw" - and came up with "System too rich" - NOT "faulty coil".

    Don't go chasing p-codes -- get the information BMW actually intended.
