    2001 BMW M5 with 2JZ-GTE (Supra) Motor Swap

    I really don't want to give up this car, but I plan to move to Asia next year and will start the sale process for the car now. So here are the details:

    Asking $22k obo

    Serious buyers only

    No test drives unless you have a check or cash on you for the car.

    Miles: 98k on Chasis/Unknown on Motor (my guess is ~50-70k range)

    Hi - I have not done a compression leak down test since I dyno'd the car 2 years ago. The swap was done 3.5 years ago. Give me a call at 347-688-3365 if you're still interested.

    im curious why someone would swap this motor in a m5. i could understand the upgrade for an e36 m3 but i'm unsure about an m5. You could have just turbo'd it and made the same power.
