Anyone know this 745i in Georgia?

My first car was an '85 745i, and I've missed it for the last decade or so. Came across this car on ebay, which I think is on it's third or fourth listing (from a seller with no feedback):

I am positive that I emailed a seller of this car on craigslist a year or so ago, but he had already sold it. Although I can't be sure, I think that CL ad had these very same photos in it. The car looks great, but the seller doesn't have much info, and of course doesn't mention HVAC.

Any of you guys seen this one in person?

PS -- I fully support anyone else's efforts to jump on this one, and would be a bit relieved if it stopped popping up on ebay every few weeks to tempt me.

Just thought I'd add that, in case anyone else gets looking for info on this car. Also, a previous listing on ebay mentioned broken rear swaybar links, with an indication that the seller intended to fix them before the auction's end. No mention this time around, which hopefully means he fixed them.

Piles of bad info on that 'bring a trailer' site... comical really. Doing actual research will tell you the common faults of the car, which typically results from inept mechanics and old rubber parts.

I went and looked at the car when I first saw it on CL about 3 months ago. I tried to buy it but could only make a lowball offer on the car since funds are a little tight right now. The seller was very honest and whoever buys it will not be disappointed. I wish the market was better for these cars.

I do not see how the seller is going to get more than $2k as the tags are out due to a no smog issue. At least it has a clear BAR. I love the paint on it!
