    Mishimoto and/or EMP Stewart Cooling System Upgrades – E30, E36, E46 (M3 & Non)

We need to sell at least 15 kits in order to get the group buy pricing.
This group buy will be open until May 31st.

Summer heat is coming—ensure your BMW is ready! Clown Shoe Motorsports is offer a great value on Mishimoto’s line of cooling products for your BMW. This is the perfect cooling system upgrade for your street or track BMW.

Not only does Mishimoto offer high quality aluminum radiators at a price near the no-name eBay radiators, but the offer a life time warranty that is second to none. We recently had a customer damage his Mishimoto radiator in a on track incident. He sent Mishimoto pictures and a copy of the receipt and they sent him a new radiator!

To complement the excellent Mishimoto products, we are also offering a special on the Stewart Water Pump for the M5x & S5x family of motors. The Stewart pump increases water flow by as much as 15-20%, providing more cooling. Stewart accomplishes this with a superior impeller design that reduces cavitation. This makes the Stewart water pump the perfect solution for cars that see lots of high RPMs. The Stewart water pump carries a limited lifetime warranty.

    E36 – 323i, 325i, 328i, M3 (manual transmission, only) Mishimoto Upgrade Kit - $295 Shipped

    E36 – 323, 325, 328, M3 Stewart Pump Upgrade Kit - $185 Shipped
    • Stewart Components Performance Water Pump (STE30330)
    • Redline Water Wetter – 1 12oz Bottle (80204)

    E36 – Complete Cooling Upgrade Package - $465 Shipped
    • Get both the Mishimoto kit & the Stewart Kit

Note - There are additional E36 Racing Options available:
    • E36 Mishimoto 62C degree thermostat (MMTS-E36-92). This is a racing only thermostat that helps reduce heat buildup by opening much earlier. This works much like the 55C degree E46 M3 Motorsport thermostat. Because of the low temperature nature of this thermostat it is only recommended for race and track cars. This thermostat will increase the time required to warm up especially in cold weather. PM us about details on adding this to your Mishimoto Upgrade Kit.
    • E36 Mishimoto X Line Radiator (MMRAD-CON-99X). Although this radiator is listed as Z3 fitment only, it will fit any E36 6 cylinder. This is a huge radiator with 61 mm core. This radiator is not a direct replacement and requires an electric fan and a remote reservoir. PM us about developing a solution for your application.

    E46 – 320, 323, 325, 328, 330 (Not M3) Stewart Pump Upgrade Kit - $185 Shipped
    • Stewart Components Performance Water Pump (STE30330)
    • Redline Water Wetter – 1 12oz Bottle (80204)

E30 – 88+ 325 Mishimoto Racing Upgrade Kit (manual transmission, only) – PM for details

Note – This kit includes a lower temperature thermostat that will increase warm up times. It is intended for racing and performance applications only.

If you don’t see what you are looking for, just PM us and we will discuss developing a custom package!

Unfortunately there is not, but the E46 M3 has a pretty well made water pump that doesn't seem to fail as often as other models.

The aluminum radiator and hoses give the E46 M3 plenty of cooling power though!

Just FYI--The stock E46 M3 pump is specially designed for the wide range of operation of the S54 (800 RPM idle, 8000 RPM Redline). The OEM pump is the best you can do with a mechanical pump. If buying a replacement E46 M3 pump, make sure that you get one with the plastic impeller. I know this is exactly the opposite of what is done in the E36, but the metal impeller pumps made by aftermarket companies for the S54 don't have the same shape as the OEM impeller and the aftermarket pumps are more prone to cavitation. The also have a lot more rotating mass than the OEM pump, which robs HP.

There are options for electric water pumps. I have developed a solution for the Davies Craig EWP150 (which we also sell) for the S54. I have this setup on my S54 powered Z3 M Coupe. It reduces parasitic loss and keeps water flowing at a constant rate no matter what RPM the motor is at.

For the E36 chassis, the Stewart pump is still the best mechanical pump on the market.

It's a slightly larger core, but there are no fitment issues.

This will require some discussion. The electric water pump solution is awesome for a track car, but it requires a little work to install. I'll send you a PM to start the conversation...
