    Technica E36 M3 S52 GTX35R Pump Gas 606.6 RWHP 567.2 RWTQ

Technica just finished replacing the engine in my 1995 M3 and I am very impressed with their professional service and especially with the results. This is the engine that had a little HG issue that led to a little cracked block issue. Jordan and Bret decided we should upgrade to an O-ringed OBD2 block, I was able to salvage the Wiseco pistons, Pauter rods, S52 Crank, and head from the damaged shortblock. We upgraded from a standard GT35R to a new GTX35R and ran a separate, muffled wastegate dump.

    Here we go.

Finally it is really good to see a little thread from a Technica customer with a dyno plot and some pics. The power graph is epic! Looks like a very nice clean setup. Big air cleaner. Big intercooler. Over subframe charge piping is mmmnnnnnnice! Nicely done water/oil lines to/from turbo. Pic of aftermarket motor mount to make room for the nice intake pipe.

    SPA manifold I presume?

    What camshafts?
    What wastegate?
    What BOV?
    What injector size?
    What MAF size?
    What exhaust setup?
Did you stick with OBDI or bump to OBDII?

Oh yeah....it has air conditioning too!

Looks excellent, do you have any photos to show where the intake pipe and hot side charge pipe are run?

I'm having new charge piping made next week for the larger intercooler and would like to do the same.

Interesting that it took 24psi to crack 600whp. Might be low reading dyno but comparing to the other setups with similar sized turbo running around, one can assume from the data that going t4 instead of t3 allows for this or more power at a lower boost level.

I think that is a worthy discussion is all.

Great torque at 4,000rpms so they might suffer some torque there for same peak power at lower psi levels. Although, this does have aftermarket cams, yet this is the first I have heard of Webb 536/546 so I have no idea how they match up to ICS Turbo Cams and I do not know how much of the great torque at 4,000rpms attributes to the aftermarket cams or not. Would have been a wonderful benchmark if it had stock cams.

More boost than I thought, but it's making power. Do enjoy!

Any more pics of the muffled WG dump?

+1 on the cams. Didn't realize that. Now, I'm definitely thinking it should be making more power with the camshafts.
