Hey guys. For those that went with the JBD plug and play from Burger, how do you like it? Was it worth it? Any major problems so far? I just picked up a 2011 335D with M-Sport and the factory torque is awesome. It was a good upgrade from my 2008 328i coupe IMO haha. Anyway, I'm thinking of getting the JBD. Would you all say you're completely satisfied with it? (what it seems like so far).

    Thanks!

After 1.5 yrs I can say I love it!. Don't even bother to uninstall it when it goes in for service. They love it too!!
Predictably, when it reads ~25 mpg, its really getting 26-26.6 mpg and that's at 75 in New England. Did a 2500 mile trip to FL and back last Xmas tinme and it indicated 24 roundtrip, but I have calculated 25+ and that was at 80+ . Did I remention it pulls like hell esp in the winter!!!

Is there anything at all available for the f10 535d xdrive? I have a 2014 and haven't seen anything that would give me a definite positive.

We do a lot of diesel tuning in my country (not as much as in Europe though). I do myself a lot of VAG TDI and PSA HDI.
Considering the power-gains/problems ratio against the petrol models... I think it's a great deal for diesel owners to get the ECU tuned.
Usually full ECU remaps are way better than external plug-in devices.
If you are interested in BMW models, check out the ecuconnections.com forum (as someone said earlier). I'm one of the moderators and the amount of useful information is huge on the subject.
Just to give an example... I had a Seat Ibiza TDI (euro model), 1.9 liter 4 cylinder turbo diesel tuned to 220hp and 450Nm (has 130hp and 310Nm in stock form)... that's a great bang for the buck don't you think?

Actually just the opposite affect on my X5. I'm getting .5=1.0mpg better mileage but on board computer now usually read ~2 mpg low. This is confirmed over past 2 years and ~40000 miles. My typical mileage at 75 is 26.5-27.5mpg.
2500 mile trip to Florida and back doing ~80 average yielded 25mpg over entire trip

2+ yr update and 50,000 miles. Mileage is similar to when new even though the onboard Almost always reads low. When it says 25 I calc 26-26.5 mpg. Speeds are now 80 up north so no complaints at 25-25.5 mpg at these speeds. Smooth seamless torque. Just wish the Germans had been smart enough to let it loaf at 2000rpms at 80 instead of 2500 rpms! They didn't need more gears, they just needed lower ratios in high gear. Just do it.

Still sounds great! Now, lets wait for them to realize what you said there!

+ 1 on the gearing. Would be nice to turn 500-900 rpms less when at 75-80 mph.
