Not sure what spring rate but yeah BC for sure.
BC are good and at a nice price point. I'd ask Chelsea what he recommends on spring rates depending on what you want to use the car for. I know he doesn't normally suggest a high rear rate.
If you're willing to spend a little more, I'd go with TRM coilovers (what I run). They're ~$1700 though instead of $1000.

Have you seen my company Broadway Static Suspension? They're manufactured by Fortune Auto and I feel are the best on the market by far. We use a variety of rates for e36 drift cars, the more serious purpose built cars run as soft as 12/10, cars with a dual purpose usually go for 15/16k.
I am not a fan of BC.

What price are we talking about here? Drifter discounts available?
Also what spring rates does everyone recommend. I am currently on 10k springs back and rear. Should I go stiffer?
Mike? Yoshi? I am looking in your direction. I know Chelsea was running 10k on his E36 before he "betrayed" us. ^_^
