How do these fit with 275/40/17? Im mounting 275 nitto Nt05 to my 17x9.5+35 arc-8's, with -2.8 degrees of camber, and was wondering if there would be any major complications with fitting them with these flares (without rubbing)

Anyone interrested in pics of the flares on a ti? Rears shown, only the side rub strip needs some love, everything else fits great.
    Tire is a NT01 275/35/18 on ARC wheel, ET35.

Are the v2 flares any wider than the v1's?

I changed to V2 in the rear and still had to cut the lip off them to clear 255.35.18 R7 on 18x10 et25 ARC8, 2+ degrees negative camber. The 255 R7 are huge and et25 probably didn't help the arch...

    Are they what.

    Left: 285/30R18 A6's
    Right: 255/35R18 A7's.

    All on 10" wheels.

So what would you call the height difference between those 2 stacks? 1"? 1/2"? ???

The old A6 spec had a .6" difference per tire in tread width between the 2. However, that was with the 285 on a 10" rim and the 255 on a 9".

It looked like 1/2" to my eye, so 1/8" per tire. The actual contact patch width may be more or less than that, dunno. It's a damn small difference either way - the A6->A7 groove design change would have more effect!

I heard a rumor that the 285/30R18 will not be continued in the A7/R7 tires. I prepped the car for the 295/30R18 Hoosier over winter (hackchophack). They're a bit wider than the 285's, and taller. The 295 did look a bit blobby on a 10" wheel - 10.5 or more would be better. I may try a set of 295's, but I expect I'll be using the 255's from now on.

Rumor appears to be wrong. 285/30R18 R7's: http://competitionmotorsport.com/R7-...18-46840R7.htm

That's interesting, because there's no data on either the Tire Rack website or the HoosierTire website about that yet.

Are there any online instructions how these are installed? Also, how come no ones using fender welt or black silicone sealant to clean up the lines a bit?
