    Auxiliary Fan Wiring!

Need your help guys. I recently found that the Auxiliary Fan of my 850ci has had its wiring tampered with and cut. Probably the previous owner trying a dodgy fix but now I am not sure what I needs to replace to fix to get this working again. With summer coming this is essential!

Anyone have a full wiring diagram of what i need to do for a full replacement? I realise i need a pressure switch but what does the other side of this plug into? Where are the control systems for this fan? Where does it plug into for the relay or control module?

I have some pictures if needed but please help!

Make sure the fan is free running first as these are notorious for seizing, broken and dislodged magnets being the usual culprit.

I did a "how To" in the archives on them.

I'm allso batling with aux fan. First I found failed fuse and then resistor is toasted. I'm waiting new resistor from dealership. Btw... I changed temp switch to cooler one. I'm runing 80/88 instead of original 91/99.

If the fuse and resistor popped, I would guess the fan has failed.

Well yes... When I shortwired the hi speed at the fuse / relay box it kept blowing fuse once but then it started to work like champ. Not a sigle problem since. Lack of use I think.
