Question What is Terminal 30? Where is it located on the BMW E46 car?

I'm having Service Engine Soon (SES) issues with a couple of codes that popped up on my 6/2001 330i (ZF Tranny) w/ 75,000 miles, adult driven all it's life 80% hwy/20% city.

The car is still driving fine and I'm experiencing no issues at all.

    The codes are.

30 (048) Torque Convertor Clutch; Too Much Slip - aka P0740

31 (049) Symptom Gear Check - not sure what this is but based on what others have diagnosed it seems to be related to P0740 and the other Gear Check codes in the P073x family

01 (011) Terminal 30 Defective - have no idea what that is? but I was just told it may be important to why the other two codes are popping up and not staying cleared.

Anyone that can help shed light of this Terminal 30 Code I will be much obliged.

    Thanks.

teminal 30 is battery power, allway on its mostly a red thick wire put you need a wiring diagram to see where it comes from, fuse or a connection to a battery cable.
