I got the lexan from Pro Glass but I had to cut and fit it. That is a spray protective film on it . You will get to it in good time. ///J.T.///

Did you not look at the pictures that he just posted? What car comes "built" like that from the factory?

To me, its just pointless to take an awesome balanced car... and rip it apart to make it go fast in a straight line. Besides, there are PLENTY of other cars out there that are a hell of a lot closer than the M3 is to be drag ready.

I don't mean to come off as a dick, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe he got a shell for cheap? Or found an M to part out, and kept the body? Just never know 'til you ask. It's going to look A LOT better than a cavalier going down the strip. I've seen some nasty ones, but they just look so bad.

Good for you. You take yours to a circuit track, JT will take HIS car to a drag strip.

Your ignorance is profound. How many cars come drag ready with a full chassis, four link and 33"x17" slicks?

With a full race car the street car is a donor for the shell only.

Further this is the drag racing forum. Take your elitist comments somewhere else.

Tubing for DRAG racing chassis $2000....Saving a totaled M3 from the junk yard$800.....Getting to listen to you sound like a DICK PRICELESS!!!! We all have diffrent ideas of how to enjoy motorsport racing. Besides what do you race? If you are so focused on what you like why are you here in this forum? ///J.T.///

Can you imagine if we didn't have a drag section? Man, posting this up in the other track sections would be ridiculous!

I don't mean to come off as a dick, but the M3 is just a sedan. It's not some super amazing sports car either. You can get much better handling, much faster sports cars for less cost that make much better/faster cars on the track. Why would you take a M3 and rip it apart to go fast on the track (think about all of the lame-o people on the forums who ride around without an interior in their luxury cars so they can "go fast") when you could have just bought a Corvette?
