How many of those Miles have been Highway miles??
I think it all depends if your driving in city traffic or out on the highway.
Obviously highway is much better, rather than stopping and starting in heavy city traffic.
My brother just purchased a 2003 Subaru Liberty Wagon it has 300,000 km's on the clock.
Full service history... excellent condition.
Car was only used for highway driving. I was very surprised how well it was still running.
I was also reading the other day of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van which did all highway KM'S and went up to 1,000,000!!!

Just purchased my first M3, 2001 with 130,200 on the clock. Got home from buying it and it has a little over 131,000 now. Vanos was just replaced before I bought it. Other than that, nothing major showed up on the carfax but I don't have a full maintenance record.
142k on mine but its been sitting since the beginning of summer because I couldn't work on it. I am beyond those days when I would work on my cars at +110 degrees on a open car port with no A/C. Getting it fixed this weekend though so I can drive it again. BTW its getting a cooling system overhaul.
i'm at 71k. i bought it with 55k.
full bolt-on, tune, and daily driven hardtop 6 speed vert.
Damn im at 180k!! what issues should one expect??
Cool picture, I love that color. I also have the same vacuum at the shop I work atOriginally Posted by Phil Trill
mine is almost to 140k, I drive it everywhere I can
yes totally agree the m3 is very addictive. I cant ever imagine driving any other car
M3s don't seem to look happy sitting still
i just recently bought mine with 99.5k on it after selling my '97 328is w/ 220k+
...no major issues in the first 5,000mi of highway driving
Just passed 150,000 a few weeks ago, no issues.
I will be up there, but I doubt a quarter million miles. Bought my 06 ZCP with 25k on the clock in January this year, at about 42k now and that was 2 months of never driving it.
My A4 Audi has 227,000 .. M3 .... 38,000
Just hit 150,000 two days ago. Love every minute of it.
mine is still at 72K!
I'm around 125k right now. 2003, bought it at 60k 5 years ago.
Nothing major yet, alternator went out at like 80k miles, that's about as bad as it gets as far as unexpected stuff.
How many of you high milage guys have had the rear subframe mounting points checked? Or how many have had it repaired?
