Bought mine last fall, 96k when purchased, about 106k now - Great to see so many higher numbers! Going to sound weird, but since I bought mine it seems like it's getting better and better every time I thrash it.
135k here. Runs like a champ.

I bought mine from TX so there is no rust like there is in NY. I bought it at 115k and change and now it's got 116k. I've driven one that had 60k miles and this one runs stronger.
200k Miles is very impressive!
I would love to compare a very low mileage M3 to this 200k one.
That was this car:

135K on my '02 vert. Purchased new, daily driver, loaded, with SMG. Only problems were passenger door remote locking (replaced) and blower resistor pack. Everything else works fine - still strong, rasp and all! Oh yeah, also had to add fluid to the top pump last year...
My dad's '05 Coupe has 156k. Just hit his first major issue this week... SMG
Until then it ran strong and pulled hard.
103k on mine. So far, it's needed a new throttle pedal, front swaybar links, FCABs and fluid changes. No major issues. Needs shocks and RTABs right now, but i'm fully anticipating another 150k+ without issue.
I've got 114,000 miles on mine. It had 83k three years ago when I bought it. I did a lot of maintenance back then to get it caught up, but have had no mechanical failures.

^ That's a beautiful car, sir.
More threads like this are needed to balance all the doom and gloom threads. Most people don't post regular "hey, another year of trouble free enjoyment of my car" threads. People come here for answers to issues but if you look at the frequency and remember they made over 80,000 of these the percentage of issues is actually low.
I currently have 59k on mine but I just bought it and I put 18-20k a year on my DD vehicles, which is what the M3 is for me. Proper maintenance is everything.

Best car Ive ever owned.
From experience around fleet vehicles cars that are driven more often almost always last longer. I witnessed a dodge caravan on its original motor (2nd trans) run to 1.67 million km. only a few weeks after it had been 'decommisioned' it sat and problem after problem after problem popped up before it literally died and was scrapped. Dodge did send someone to check out the van before we scrapped it. I believe m3s that are driven regularly will definitely last longer than those that are not and are stored for longer periods.
Phil,
I have 148,500 on mine and still running strong! I had my VANOS bolts replaced last year for preventive maintenance and replaced a failed fuel pump last weekend, otherwise no issues

Just bought a 2003 vert - SMG with 7500 miles on it.
I hope I get the mileage you guys have gotten
Bought mine 4 1/2 years ago with 52k on it and it has 112 k now. Had a few minor fixes ( vanos, sagging headliner, brakes) but the car has been a true joy to own. The best part is it keeps me from getting restless and buying another car. I've driven other new models and nothing is as good.
For the first time in my life my car add is cured! I may honestly drive this one till the wheels come off then buy the exact same car with lower miles.
My A4 Audi has 221,000 and climbing... 05 -M3 38.000
Impressive, need info on maintenance
108k on mine. No issues whatsoever. Only needed a $35 ignition coil since I've owned it.
Maintenance done would be the regular bushing replacements, oil changes, fuel filter, and flushed all fluids when i got the car @ 97k.
Just hit 140k over the weekend
