At minimum required:
For ISTA/D VM - Core 2 Duo/4Gb RAM/50Gb disk space

Optimal:
Core i5/8Gb RAM/Win x64/100Gb disk space on 7200RPM disk or SSD

OPs or ICOM Rondo, I will have an ICOM emulator very soon.

Don't know terra but it supports all BMWs and it has the latest WDS.

Not only wiring diagrams and diagnosis, but also repair and replace, training, and other documents. This is essentially DIS,WDS,TIS,etc. all combined in the third generation of tools. This is not progamming, and I would not do programming on newer cars with the ICOM emulator and the ISSS VM (should you have it).

Is this the hacked offline mode VM from darksys?

Installed and working on Macbook Pro early 2011 - 8gb RAM and Imac mid 2011 8gb ram, working ok, but... Is any way to install ISTA-P in this vmware? or any vmware image for ISTA-P? I'm thinking in buying a Icom clone to try (it's for personal use, not professional).

There is a VMware install of ISTA/p but I do not have it and it needs a real ICOM to work.

You need an ISSS system that has connected at least once to valid IBASE server. Then you can take it offline and edit one of the XML files to make it offline. The ISID VM attached here has only diagnosis (ISTA-D). ISTA-P shows greyed out since the the ISID is in offline mode. Invoking ISTA-P needs a valid ISSS to call.
