    16x8 wheel fitment question

It looks like I'm buying a set of 16x8 wheels with stretched tires

I tried searching but couldn't find any first-hand information. First, I'm wondering if I need to pull the fenders or do anything drastic to get these to fit (ie more than just rolling the inner fenders). Second, they are ET23 so I'm going to need spacers. I just need to know what size spacers are needed. I cannot for the life of me figure out if a wider wheels means more offset or less. Wheel size calculations hurt my head.

these are for the yellow car i picked up a couple months ago, not my baby.

You shouldn't need spacers as 16's will clear the tie rod and in the back you are fine. You might not need to pull the fenders, but would be a good idea to have the fender lips rolled.

What is the offset? In the front i hit the tie rods with no spacers and 15 x 8s...in the back I was hitting something as well with a test fitment....

Yup, no spacers. Now, if they were 15's you would nee to run about a 10mm spacer.

I had 16x8's ET20 in the past and didnt run spacers at all. I would rub in the front if I went over a speed bump and didnt have the wheels straight.

I think you will be okay.
