About BMW Individual Frozen Paint Colors.
The special BMW Individual matte paintwork on the Frozen Black Edition M3 adds a rare metallic luster to the vehicle. Compared to conventional exterior colors with gloss finish, the sculpture-like character of Frozen Black paint highlights the athletic contours of the M3. To achieve this luster, a special BMW-developed silk matte clear coat is applied over the Black Metallic base coat. BMW Individual’s Frozen paints meet or exceed all BMW standards for durability and longevity, and feature a full factory warranty. Special care guidelines are provided to customers and authorized BMW centers to prevent the finish from becoming glossy.

Hello guys, I want to show you some of the new details about this new special edition of BMW M3, namely Frozen Black. The car comes with the current engine from the stock BMW M3, 420hp and 400 nm. Also the car has a Drivelogic M transmission and reaches an acceleration of 4,5s (0-62mph). My opinion is that BMW has done a great job because the M3 was a succesful one in past, is in present and will be in future. So sexy and aggresive!

Absolutely stunning
What a beauty
wow thats beautiful
cool how it has blacked out exhaust tips and wheels
doesnt really look like a factory car, lol

Playstation colors? I guess its cool. you can always leave it dirty since it wont be shiny on the top and dusty looking on the sides. I think im going to do that to my M3...its called black PRIMER
Does it turn glossy if it gets some tire wet overspray from the tires????
I had a black turbo eclipse that had a black primered fender that i just sprayed down with tire wet to make it match the rest of the glossy car. It was cheaper than getting it painted
I hope this is the special US model BMW has been talking about. Total yawn, since it's been available in the rest of the world forever now.

Looks cheap, same with frozen grey. I rather see retro colors come back.
That baby looks bad to the Mad Max bone!
Houdini
so the "we forgot to paint it" look?
never understood it.

meh... cf is overused now and i dont get the whole "matte special edition" models
This look is starting to get a little too played out IMO
Slick, but I'm not sure that is going to age well.
Matte doesn't wear well on a BMW...
So for an extra $10-15k you get what? The same motor as any other E9x M3, a slightly different suspension, and a Hot Rod Magazine "dry lakes special" rattle-can paintjob? That flat thing has been done to death in the magazines, and its not as cool as people make it out to be. On a '49 Merc, sure, but coming from the factory like that? BMW has come out with some stunning colors over the years but I guess they just ran out of ideas. I lol'd when I saw that "special care guidelines are provided to customers and authorized BMW centers to prevent the finish from becoming glossy."
The interior is nice, except for the cliche carbon fiber and the 1980's Jensen-style speaker grilles. And the contrast stitching doesn't look as good without a blue thread running through with the red. Kind of reminds me of the black- or red-accented Roundels people put on their cars. Neat for a few seconds, but then I'm left wondering "why?"
Overall, this car looks like it should have the decklid replaced with a couple of huge fuel tanks, put in a kiddie seat to hold your Australian Blue Heeler, and don't forget some Dinky-Di dog food and lots of shells for your sawed-off double barrel coach gun. Leather jacket is not included. And, watch out for Wez and the Humongus.
im from canada and there was only 23 released with 3 of them being sold in my city of a population of 250k . i stopped in to look at one and the sales staff had a tough time keeping it clean in the showroom . the dealer body shop wont even be able to do any repairs . definetly a garage queen
I like it all and all, but not sure if I like the CF in the interior. Giving you the chance to paint it any color you want!! Its primered and ready!!
I would still drive the hell out of it.
Love it! Just received an email from BMW about it wanting to know if I would like to reserve one. lol yeah right.
