Considering the E60 M5 rents for $325.00 - 365.00 Per day on the weekends ( I've looked into the numbers by the way )
I need to keep the rental costs down for the 1 series M
to make it attractive to potential clients.
My biggest reason for not going through with it -
I need to put family interests above my own -
And that is the only reason this won't happen

On the contrary your comprehension is the one in need of extra attention.
The last post was only to drive home more research less emotion. Wheither its renting cars or a vehicle exchange club the post applied to both. For the overhead will be a pain because of the vehicle abuse and damage. For you can pretty much guarantee that people are going to beat on the cars, especially a M series.
A friend of mine had a Lamborghini Murcielago which he used to rent for videos ( you've probably seen it ) and for his Atlanta Lambo club. One of the members crashed the car trying to avoid hitting someone racing down peachtree st. The member reported the car stolen to avoid the bill. Guess who ate the repair bill? Not the member.
The post was also directed toward the comment of shooting down his idea. Which was kind of juvenile.
Business is business. I applaud all who decide to work for themselves.
From SD203's response below he has a good grasp of what he wants to do. Which is great.
So you were commenting to say what?

let's not argue amongst friends...
Gentleman - I appeal to your good nature
Another idea is to form the Black Forest Motor Club- we can use my property in PA for BBQ's
There's an inground pool up the road, right in the state park
and the Black Forest Inn is a few miles from there, as well as the mountain top inn - which - quite frankly - has the better roads to cruise on.
-
The trip is a good 2 hour highway drive - with an hour of the best mountain roads you've ever seen - and I'm not joking
It would require a stop over
We could all have a huge bash down on the farm after we arrive
But I have to convince my brother to go along with it - he lives on the property year round.
So if we decide to do it - it will have to be worth his while.
If everyone anti's up - and throws him a few bucks - it could happen
For those of you who have gone on the Black Forest Run with me - it is a fun time
Second alternative - we stick to the Poconos and head up 380 - cruise and stop to eat along the way.
The Last Pocono run was an absolute blast
What do you think ?
The Black Forest Motor Club is seeking members -
Please join me

What?!? nothing wrong with a loving slapboxing contest once in awhile. It's cool dude. I'm glad to see you have it sorted out. And I wish you the best in this venture. I'll bring the bubbly for your grand opening
