Driving home, my radio was cutting out periodically, and then after a big bump, it completely went out. The CD player still works fine, so I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of the radio antenna wire coming disconnected somewhere. But my Bentley manual hasn't arrived yet (it's ordered), and I haven't had the car long enough to have disassembled the whole interior yet. Can someone tell me where the potential disconnection points are along the path from the antennae to the radio - and, ideally, what I have to take apart to get to them?
Doing a quick search of the forum, I find this. May be of some help.

Thanks. I initially searched, but was coming up with so much noise that I wasn't sure if a signal was even there.
Most of the problems seem to occur in the C pillar connection.
Totally stock 97 740iL except for SatRad
It's your BM radio module, as you have DSP the CDC signal runs directly into the AMP.
That they crap out over time is normal, you need to re solder the connections.
Tnx to Jacky for the pics
Have a technical question, don't send me a PM but post it on the board so others can benefit from it!
Tune yours to AM 540, listen it goes up with the speed. I posted a video of mine.
I thought the radio antena plugs into the reciever/GPS in the trunk, left side. Seems like i bought something from radio shack that you plug in between the antena and where it plugs in to the reciever in the trunk and the "winning" noise went away. Sorry i can't be more specific but it's been years ago that i did it.
