It seems to run pretty well. But it's been burning oil like crazy lately. I'm suppose to be getting another S52 to build here pretty soon!

I know for sure I can't hang with one that's got ANY mods. I raced a 335xi on the way back from the drag strip a year or so ago down I-35. I didn't have my back seat/spare tire/rear door panels in. So I was a little lighter than normal. And it was of course a heavier chassis. But I beat it by quite a bit. My S52 has nearly 200k miles now and it's tired! My best is 13.92. It's certainly not crazy fast.

not a bad time still faster than some cars. mine was an xi too and my best time was 10.89 almost got the world record but to get a better time would be BIG $$$

Followed a white 2002 down the turnpike from okc on my way to Tulsa. We were going 75-80 when he pulled up on us. He was holding some pretty good speed most of the way. It had euro plates with a Texas plate in the rear window. It was cool to see one being driven.
