Well, I guess I'm done lurking since I've got 2 posts under my belt so I'd better introduce myself.
I've wanted a 3 series for as long as I can remember, and finally found my ride on 8/10/12. She's a 2007 335i E92 with 42,000 miles. Galaxy Gray, Sport & Premium packages. Upgrade plans are in the works, but first I need to go over her with a fine tooth comb and get her into fighting shape. Everything seems as expected for a used car this age, but I definitely am going to walnut blast the intake valves in the next few weeks. Nothing like tearing into her guts to get aquatinted!
Been on this site for over a year now and reading all your post about the vehicle and finally got the balls and got myself a Bimmer. It was either the ferrari or the BMW.
Welcome newcomers.
I'm back again for a re-intro. I just bought another 330i, a 2006 E90.
Just found this site, and already I've gathered some valuable insight. Just picked up a 2009 Atlantic Blue, 328i convertible with the premium package, and 10,000 miles. My first BMW, so I have a lot to learn.
Hi all, just picked up an '09 335i coupe. Black/black, 6-speed, well optioned (sport, premium, and cold weather.) I still feel like I just spent waaaay too much money on a car because this is about 10x the price of my normal car purchase, but then again it is so good to have a real car again... sold my old 944 a couple years ago; haven't had a BMW since, oh, 1998? (was a '86 535i, liked the car, but it was worn) Anyway, just thought i'd pop in and say hi...
Hello. We just got a new-to-us 2010 BMW 330i sedan. I am actually impressed a sedan can have this grunt and I'm liking it . My main car is a 2007 Porsche Boxster S.
Just saying hello. Will post pictures of when I can!
Hi everyone, bought my first BMW last weekend. I am the proud owner of a silver 2009 CPO 328i. This site has been extremely helpful in researching what to look for. Thanks!

I'm in love with my first BMW. 1995 e36 325i sedan. So far chipped the ecu. Full coland change waterpump thermostat hoses and clutch fan delete. New shocks and struts. ASA 17" wheels with 215/40/17 tires. Lots more to come. There is so much on this forum. Thanks everyone.
I have a long story but I wont bore everyone...
I am new to the North Georgia area and I just bought my first BMW 2011 335i with 9k miles... =) THIS IS AN AWESOME CAR!!!! I have already taken her up to the chatahochee road area =) I am looking for more roads to ride with her..
I do have many questions and hope I can find some direction on here..
Questions like:
1. Upgrading my Hi/Fi sound system which is the best way to do it..
2. Where to get my tinting done?
3. I presently have 17" is there a handling benefit to upgrade to 18's if so... can i go 8.5 in front and rear?
well I wont bore you anymore HELLO!!! everyone.. PM me anytime =)
After owning a 2001 BMW 325 that I absolutely loved, I upgraded this weekend to a 2011 335xi with 14k miles. Alpine white exterior with black interior. Man this car is amazing. The power and handling puts a smile on my face every time I step into it. I do have two young kids so I opted for the automatic without sport package, because I need to keep one foot firmly placed in my reality. But here's to my wife who let me get this bad boy. I'm a lucky man all around.
Just got a 2009 E92 335i! What should I do to it(aesthetic mods/performance mods)?
Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of the BMW owners community as of yesterday. I bought a 2009 335i M Sport Convertible and couldn't be happier (well, if there was more room for my golf clubs, that would help sweeten the pot). I look forward to forum members advice, caution and yes, flamers when necessary. I have a lot of reading to do first, but look for my frequent requests for help when I have read enough to be dangerous (to myself of course). Thanks for reading this post, Nick
Iv finally grown up and bought a 4dr diesel BMW. I didnt really want to go down this route but due to high mileage it was necessary. Also coming from an E46 330CI i thought the diesel would be boring and souless in comparison.I was wrong. Popped down barons and saw a black 4dr 320d m sport 2009 , with BMW performance wheels and bodykit+CF spoiler, which looked very nice. After a test drive i was surprised at the pace of the thing, although a lot quieter than the 6 cylinder petrol , it was fast enough and handled well, i also liked the heavier steering feel.
The electric seat bolsters are also very cool. I have only had the car a short time, and will report on any issues. Are these cars safe to remap and does anyone know the best/reliable one to go for, as this car has to last me. The only negative i can find at the moment is the indicators, they dont seem to stay on as long as my E46.
Hi everyone,
Just traded in my 2001 530i for a 2009 328xi sedan. Definitely a lot of mixed feelings. I really loved my 530 and had done a lot of work on it myself. But it was time to move on and I was able to find exactly what I wanted in a CPO with less than 25k miles. I still miss the 530, but I'm loving my new car.
The community on the E39 forum and their knowledge was invaluable. I look forward to learning and sharing with you all.
Hello..
I've been a BMW enthusiast for years. I've owned two. First, was an E46 Navy Blue with 5MT. Loved it! Traded that in for my E90 2007 328i Black on Black AT. It's my wife's DD. Planning on upgrading to a 2013 or 2014 next October. Hopefully White with 6MT and nav.

Hello fellow e9x owners! I'm coming from the e34 section of the forum so really looking forward to this section. I have e90 325xi w/ auto tran (not as fun as my 5ers) but it is a clean car and a little nicer to look at
I just purchased my first BMW 2007 328i with 50,000 miles. The car is a lot of fun to drive.

LOOKING FOR A HARDTOP and M3 bumper!! PM ME!
Hi I am not really new to BMW but it is my first BMW that I have owned. It is a E90 335i Sport in Monaco Blue with beige interior. I will be posting up pics soon. My cousin (TPIOLDS) has a modified E31 (850) and on Forums as well. I was a Toyota/Lexus people but was always open minded. I still have my 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo and I am in the process of trying to sell my 1994 Lexus SC400. I am extremely happy with the 335i and I am planning on doing a few things to it.
Hi all,
I'm posting for the first time on the Bimmer Forums. I'm hoping to find answers to some of many questions regarding my car. My knowledge about cars, repairs, parts, etc is quite limited.
I bought my first BMW in 2009 - Black on black, 2005 330CI Coupe w/M-Sport Package - Manual transmission. Amazing car! Loved it.
Just this past summer I bought a 2008 335xi Coupe Sport Package with Dinan Software upgrade and Borla exhaust. It's also black on black w/ manual transmission. It's been lowered with some H&R Sport springs. I'll post pictures when I get a chance. Super fun car to drive.
I'm looking to put a set of winter tires on the car. I found a used tire/wheel package that used to be on a 2008 335i sedan. I'm wondering if these tires/wheels will fit on my car. Here are the tire sizes:
front 225-40-18
rear 255-35-18
Should I be aware of any issues or problems with this package?
Thanks for your help this question.
