Bought my '07 328xi a few months ago. Cold Weather/Sport/Premium Packages, 77k miles. Sparkling Graphite/Black Dakota Leather
I bought my first BMW after being a long time Audi owner. '06 330i Sport, Cold Weather, and Premium packages. I just finished plastidipping the rims and trim. Also added a Thule roof rack this weekend. Let me know what you think ...
A few months ago I bought my first BMW and have to say I couldn't be happier. It really is the Ultimate Driving Machine, the quality and ride is just amazing. I'm hoping to find some other bmw owners around my area (Hudson, NY). Since this is my first BMW, I could always use some guidance. I do have a few questions.
1. Run Flat tires, I have ContiPros and from the reviews that I have read, they don't seem to last long, anyone have any thoughts ? Is there a higher quality tire ?
2. I was chatting with the service manager and he was telling me about some products that keep the interior in top shape, I mentioned something about a product that comes from Ireland but of course I forgot the name of it. Any idea what that might be ?
Thanks
Hello everyone... just another new guy.
I do not currently have a BMW, as I have so many questions on what the best option is for me. So ill start by introducing myself and ask questions in another post, lol.
Hi everyone. Just joined a few days ago. I've been working on BMW's for 8 years at a Dealership. I do lots of Autocross and track events.
Neilyo from Northern VA, I just purchased a 2011 328i xDrive Wagon.
Hello all! I'm new to the forums. I have an '07 328i with around 79k on it. I recently bought a BMS tune for it and was thinking of going with map 3, would that be "recommended" with my sort of mileage? I have an M-Tech body kit, front CF splitter, Rear CF M3 style spoiler, and about to put on 19in Avant Garde M359 matte black on my bimmer.
I want to lower the stance of my car maybe an inch. Any suggestions how I should go about it?
Also, I really dig the AE cat-back exhaust but can't seem to find it for my vehicle. Any other suggestions for an exhaust system? Otherwise I can get a BMW performance exhaust for around $950.
Any suggestions on a cold air intake? aFe?
Thanks!

G'Day,
I've been a member of Bimmerforums for quite a while now, ever since I first got my E34 in '07 I think it was and posted fairly regularly there. For the past two years I've been the owner of an E46 and have only posted in the relevant section once and now I am looking at upgrading my loan (BMW Finance) to a 2010 ex-demo 320i with 32k km on the ODO.
I think the thing that I most enjoy about the new car (having tested it once) is all of the new tech in comparison to my '05 325i. I could talk someone's ears off for hours about BMW tech, I love it.
Whilst true there's a slight reduction in power in comparison with my current car I figure that the extra gear and newer tech would compensate for at least a bit of that and (though I'm disgusted for saying this because it sounds so... mature) I don't really NEED to upgrade performance wise, nor too much power except when overtakig semis on the highway.
The new car itself has a whole host of options and is Space Gray with Dakota leather w/aluminium inserts. I can't wait for the Finance Manager here (Adelaide Motors) to finish with all the paperwork.
(I guess I should probably get around to updating my sig once the refinanced loan goes through).

Hello everyone. New to the site and new to the BMW world. Please note I do not own a BMW myself, but I joined looking for some input on the ultimate driving machines.
I currently drive a 1972 Chevelle. I have a very long list of modifications, but needless to say, driving it everyday is becoming tiresome. I have grown up around BMW's (friends and family), and i'm thinking about upgrading to a 335i.
I apologize if it's frowned upon to join and not own a BMW, but i'm hoping you all can convince me to turn from American engineering to German engineering. Thanks.
Hello everyone, first post on the forum. I currently own a lightly modded an 07 335i sedan. Looking forward to using the board.
Hello everybody.
My name is John and owner of a 2006 330xi
Last week I bought my first BMW car for my wife. It's a 2006 325i with 54k miles. It's a great car. I've already got my first service due light. I replaced the brake fluid and micro filter, as well as resetting the service light.
My main goal for the forum is for repairs/maintenance. I do plan to buy a service manual. Owning a BMW motorcycle I have experience with a factory manual (DVD). I would prefer a physical manual. Does anyone have a recommendation for a service manual?
I appreciate any advice.
Joel
BK from WV. Preparing to buy my first Bimmer. See my first post in 3 series forum. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also new here, not new to good size forums (PBNation, NASIOC, PartTimePoker, etc) and am looking at upgrading to a 135/335 because i see so much potential in each of them. Hope to be driving it home in the next month and plan on joining BMWCCA for some of the limerock/NHMS/etc driving events in my area.
What's up everyone, I'm Kurt from Boston (Bridgewater, technically) and just bought my first BMW ('07 328xi Coupe 6MT).
I actually learned how to drive stick on my dad's 1998 540i Sport when I was like 16, which was a beast of a car from my recollection haha. My first 2 cars were Audis, a '98 A4 2.8 MT, then a '00 S4 2.7TT 6MT. I test drove an E46 M3 Coupe 6MT and loved it, but it had 75k and was in the mid $20Ks, so I kept looking. I test drove a 328xi and 335i (both E92s) the next weekend and decided I'd rather lose a little power to gain more luxury and reliability (I hope haha).
Did some research on here and e90post and picked the 328xi after reading so many horror stories with the 335i, assuming the next generation (or at least couple of years newer) would be a little less problematic and more in my budget that I was trying to keep ~$22-24K including MA 6.25% sales tax. I couldn't find any CPO 335's (or decent non-CPOs either really) for under $24K in my area so I opted for the 328xi, which is still a really fun car, looks amazing, and probably a good warmup for the 335i/M3 I buy next.
I'll post pics when I hit 15 posts haha.

Hello all,
First time BMW owner..I just purchased a 2009 328i last weekend which I'll be picking up tomorrow. I'm looking forward to learn as much as I can about this car.
Cheers,
PeteKay
Go guys on my 3rd BMW and thank god for the ultimate driving machine after trying others like vw gli Acura etc no one makes a car like BMW .
Hi all, new toy, new forum
This one's technically my wife's but I'm a serial forum-ist and soaker of knowledge with a long history/bad habit of automotive exploits. This is our first BMW, have almost pulled the trigger on one or another half a dozen times but something else always won out.
The car: CPO 2009 328ci, silver with a coral interior.
She seems rather in love with it which is awesome after having been mourning the loss of her [leased] Boxster.
I know, pictures or it never happened....
It's destined for some new wheels as soon as we scrub the tires bald but I doubt it sees much more than tint & a homelink mirror in the way of mods. Mods are generally saved for MY toy .
I just purchased a 2007 335i sedan (cpo) alpine white, sport pkg. I have done some post reading, but where can i get service procedure info? Im on my second bmw m/c and i am familiar with them , as I do my own maint. and repairs on the bikes. Is there a technical manual available such as clymers? or is tech info available for the download? thanks
