Hi, I'm new to the bimmer community, and I own a 2000 BMW 323i.
Greetings from Melbourne, Australia. Just joined the world of bimmers with a 2011 e90 323i M-Sport sedan.
Just picked up a CPO 2008 BMW 335I with 14,700 miles! Car has sport and premium package. I just want to drive it all the time. Hard to drive it slow!
Hello everyone. New to the forum here but not to BMW. Former M5 owner and former 335i owner. Currently have a 2010 Corvette ZR1 but don't get to drive it much because I live in the midwest and seems there is either sand/salt on the road or raining or something...
I really miss my 335i so I've decided to sell my truck and get another 3 series as a daily driver.
I've been going back and forth whether to get an M3 or do a Dinan Stage 3 on 2011 335is. Because it's a daily driver and I'm not going to track it, I'm leaning heavily toward the Dinan route. I will probably start a thread and get some input.
Anyway, greetings to all, look forward to hanging out here...

Hi Guys/Girls im new to the forum... This is my E90 Msport im UK based
Hope you like
I'm not really new to the forums, been around since 2010. Bought my wife her first BMW in late 2009. Bought her a 2007 X3 and we both fell in love the BMWs. In November 2010 after returning from the desert, my wife decided it was time for me to join the BMW family and we bought my 2008 328I. The family got a little bigger from there. The wife decided in March 2011 that it was time to get a bigger BMW so we traded the X3 for a 2008 X5. Needless to say, we both love our BMWs very much as do our kids. I'm currently on deployment again, but when I return I will be putting new wheels, tires and suspension on the E90 and can't wait. The wheels will be a set of CSL 19x8.5 for the front and 19x9.5 for the rear and I will be dropping the car a little over an inch. The picture following was taken before I left for deployment, just making sure the wheels and tires fit correctly prior to purchase. Anyway, as you have guessed by now, I'm in the military, Air Force to be exact and have been for the past 14 years. I can't wait to meet the folks on here and gather info as I go.

Both the E90 and E70 in HDR, hope you like them!

Hello everyone, my wife is on her second BMW, the first was an X3; this one is an '09 330 xdrive. We like it a lot. It's fast, stable, sure-footed and attractive; easy to drive to the store or long-haul.
Hello from Canada to everyone! I just bought my first BMW, a 2008 X3. I pick it up on Friday. I'm excited!
Hello all, Just purchased my 1st BMW this past Monday evening. 07 328i 4 door AT. 60k on the clock, previous owner took extreme good care of it.
I will have questions along the way as I begin researching this car and figuring things out. Already got the reset transmission down that made things much more happier to drive as the gas delay has almost gone away now.
I will be asking next as far as tires, best place to get and led's for the angel eyes, etc..
I'm pretty damn happy with the purchase, now it's the learning part.
Thanks
Billy

Hi Everyone:
Noob here from RI. Picked up a 335 ix after a long break from BMWs. Last one was a 633 that I sold back in 1991 and wish I still had it.

Here you go guys! Eat your hearts out and I hope you enjoy. This is the first BMW I have ever owned and I don't see myself owning a different vehicle EVER again. I recently purchased an Alpine White 2011 335i sedan. After the first month I got a horrible case of the "mod" bug. First it started with wheels and tires. Next I installed the black kidney grills. Such a great look on any BMW in my opinion. Then I did a few mods on the engine. First I installed an aFe stage 2 air intake. The air intake added extra horse power and beefed up the sound of the turbos. After feeling the difference in the air intake I decided to get the BMW performance power kit. The power kit added a very sporty exhaust burbling noise during engine overrun conditions. Next I decided to get a full coilover kit. I went with the KW V1's. I'm very happy with the way they came out. The ride height and alignment were adjusted after they settled and it came out great. The car handles on rails now. The same shop that installed them also did my black trim around my windows. It's a lot more sporty without the chrome trim in my opinion. Lastly, I just installed my LED Angel Eyes. It took about 10 minutes to install both bulbs and they came out super clean. Just the right brightness and the daytime running lights are all blue as well. All in all, I think I'm done for a little while or at least until I get bored.
Hello,
Just got my CPO 2008 328i 3 days ago.
Glad to be a part of the community.
I just bought a gold/bronze automatic version with Sports and Premium Package in Pennsylvania at a dealership. I took the extended warranty to 100,000 miles.
The car has stunning looks and it's great to have two cars in one-the coupe and a convertible. (If the top mechanism ever sticks, is there a manual over-ride?).
My 1995 525i has 172,000 miles and still is great mechanically and bodily-mostly wear in the trim and interior.
The 328i is great fun to drive; responsive and balanced.
Engine response is less than smooth until 1,200-1,300 rpm, then it sings....
Does anyone know the rated Maximum Torque....?
In my research I did not come across many problems with the roof, so keeping my fingers crossed.
You have to be very careful when parking because of the very low front end, otherwise a wonderfully rewarding car to drive.
I would be interested in other owner's experiences.
Tony

Just joined... Looking forward to following, joining discussions!
We have two 2011s... An early model year E92 -335i x-Drive coupe, with sports package and a late model year E90 (nov, made in SA)- 335ix-Drive Sedan...M-sport, LeMans Blue?.. Trying to post pics, but don't seem to have access to do so...
Hey guys, about 7 days ago picked up my first bmw....2011 335 with drive. loving it so far. Blk/blk with aluminum trim, was interested in the 3's reliability (I'm coming from a range rover) so I'm hoping that its less time in the shop and more time on the road for me.
mods so far....
-tint job
-bmw ski racks (even though in boston doesn't feel like winter)
pics soon!
Nice meeting all of u,
chris
My daughter (2 yr old) insisted I ditch my Audi TT because she didn't like getting in the back anymore. I bought a '09 335xi sedan as a replacement. I looked at the coupes and the convertibles and decided I was likely to run into a similar issue on rear seat space. The sedan has plenty of space though. As for manual transmissions, I looked at dozens of 3 series, probably a 1/3 of which were MTs.
Have a coupe and a sedan...the coupe is a PIA for backseat... Could not imagine doing a carseat thing there!!
The automatic with paddles, IMHO, is a lot better than MT... I don't miss the stick at all, especially in city or traffic, and as you really can shift the automatic, it sure comes close... I like that it allows u to downshift with the paddle, but thn reverts to auto if you don't continue to shift with paddles or shifter in " manual" mode...
Long time troller, finally broke down and registered so I can look at attachments. Early '07 E90 335i and '97 E36 318i. Will probably get a 335d soon. . .
Been trying to talk myself into getting a personal car for about 3 years (I have a company car). Finally broke down and got a 2012 335is convertible, white with saddle interior, and the upgraded wheels. Will post pics after I take some.
