Whats wrong with this website and Internet Explorer?

Something has changed, i have 3 machines so far, one with XP, Vista and the other Windows 7. all 3 have Internet Explorer 7 and 8.

since yesterday only this website takes for ever to load and makes my mouse cursor go into the HOUR GLASS and flashes it between cursor and hour glass super fast meanwhile the website just hangs.

i cant even make a new thread in this section it loads but i cant type meanwhile at the bottom it always shows this website loading double click ads.

    "Waiting for http://view.atdmt.com/CNT/iview/21584458/direct;wi.728;hi.90/01?click=http://ib.adnxs.com/click"

What is this? it says this same thing on all 3 computers with different operating systems and different browsers.

just for the hell of it i went to 2 other computers that are not mine both running WIN XP SP3 IE 7.0 and it does the same thing just hangs for ever.

if i'm not creating a new thread it just hangs for like 2 min locking up the whole browser while it shows that URL at the bottom loading and when it finishes loading then i can scroll up and down and click other threads. some threads i can read but it usually happens when i click to view the main forum page or a sub section page not a specific thread.

i mean 5 different computers have the same problem 3 of which are not mine so the chances of it being the same spyware or malware people will try to say i have is not possible.

its like recently this site was updated to allow more ads because the site takes so much longer to load in IE compared to CHROME and Firefox which i do not want to use IE works just fine for what i need it for.

for the record i had to use CHROME right now just to submit this thread. IE just doesn't like BFC right now but i have no issues with any of the other 35 sits that i use daily

heres a screen shot to show that its loading that thing at the bottom. it doesn't do this for any other site or forum except BFC.

its so bad for me that if i have say 5 tabs open in IE and BFC has finished loading, what ever it loads ADs wise its affecting my other tabs as wlel causing them to locking up and hang. its like BFC loads certain Ads into memory thats affecting my entire browser session.

same problem here. just freezes, flashes, and hour glass for about 15-20 seconds (or more) before it loads the page and starts working again like nothing ever happened. IE8 here.

im glad to know its not just me. i hope others chime in here and maybe Kevlar can take a closer look as to what he has loaded and running on the forums. i know he needs money from ads but this is kind of ridiculous

    haha, I agree.

Install Ad Block Plus to Chrome since you already have that. With Ad Block, I often forget that ads exist and they are a friendly surprise when I use a different computer, or in this case where somebody seems to have a problem with them.

The ads are provided by a 3rd party... so I can take the information provided (the more the better) and send it to their teams to investigate.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

I do not have this problem with Firefox, but used to have it occasionally with IE8 until I got rid of it.Have any of you just installed a windows update in the last few days?I have had 2 updates literally ruin my computer within the last year!!!Microsoft sucks!!! Now I am very cautious with their updates and always backup before installing!Hope this helps.Good luck to all! P.S. If you have a registry cleaner, use it!! Since I got PC Tools Registry Mechanic I have very few problems and everything is fast and clean!

shouldnt have to do that though. i understand the needs for 3rd party ads, everyone does it but when the ads start compromising the fluid movement of the site and causing a unpleasant experience for the user that should be an indicator of something.

Could the third party's use of Google Analytics be having an impact? It seems that my browser - be it IE6, IE8 or Firefox is constantly "waiting for www.google-analytics.com" For the most part only on BFC but sometimes other sites as well.
