    E30 with 15x8 RML Snowflakes from fifteen52

What is RML? RML is our vision of classic OE wheel designs from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, but produced in more contemporary sizes. Simply put, when it comes to modern wheel design, RML wheels put the “plus” in OEM+.

First up is the 15x8 ET30 RML “Snowflake.” The RML Snowflake is our take on a more contemporary version of the VW 14x6 "Snowflake" that came as original equipment on the 1983 Rabbit GTI, along with many other VW models over the following ten or so years. So while this is not specifically an E30 design, feedback has been positive and many agree they look great on the older 4x100 BMWs. At ET30, many E30 owners will want to add spacers to the mix, and since we are the parent company for www.adaptecspeedware.com, we can help you there for sure (RML wheel purchasers are entitled to excellent discounts on Adaptec items).

Available in a machined/charcoal or machined/black finish, these wheels have an MSRP of $199.52 per wheel. Applications are currently limited to 4x100 bolt patterns and a 57.1mm center bore.

To order please click here for machined/charcoal or here for machined/black.

The car has 8mm and 15mm spacers

I've always loved these wheels but never thought they'd lookthis good on an e30. I'm really tempted to get these

i may be the only that does not like them. the only thing i dont like is the wide flat part just outside the lugnuts, where the "spokes" take off.

    nice car though.

Please do. We're looking to offer some special pricing for owners who can help us get the word out to the E30 community regarding these wheels.

The kind of help we're looking for will involve spacers and a lower stance, but we can help with those issue too

Anyone interested shoot us a PM or an email to info@1552v2.com.

face design aside, your wheels are all wrong for any stanced e30. they are 15's which is too small. they have little/no real lip, as well as 30 offset which is way too high. the sizing and offset of your wheels is track setup not stance.

Too small is a matter of opinion, no? All we've really asked for is an E30 that will make the most of running these wheels. Not like we have a Canibeat shoot lined up or anything

And as for offset, that's why I mentioned the use of spacers.

True stance or no, our offer still stands

If these were designed for E30's why are there spacers needed? And does anyone have a pic of the OEM wheel that this is supposed to be designed after?

I am on the fence if I like these or not. What other designs do you offer?

Happen to have a set of 15" M-Par's? Or maybe even 16's with the 4 lug pattern?

Now, that... I would like to see...

    too many
they are not designed for E30's, they are designed to mimic the stock 14" wheels on US spec MK1 VW GTI's. Just so happens the bolt pattern and center bore are the same. Also, looks like the tires in the OP pics are for a MK1 as well, far too small for an E30 unless it was dumped.

    I like em.

Good call, and we should have been more clear from the beginning that these are a more contemporary take on the VW 14x6 Snowflake.

So while these were not designed specifically for the E30, we do have a couple customers running them and feedback has been good.

Just offering something different - no harm, no foul

Wow, that's some serious rubber. No wonder they fit. Does the engine spin at 6000RPM on the freeway?
