Time needed: 1 1/2 hour
Tools: Socket set, jack and jack stands, ball joint separator or pickle fork
Symptoms: wobble in steering, slight shimmy, knocking sounds
Parts: center link and tie rods ( I used Meyle)
Jack up the car
Remove both wheels
Remove the tranny cover (US cars don't have it)
Tie rod nut
Undo the nut
If it starts to turn jack it up a little to put tension on the joint
Use a ball joint removal tool or pickle fork
Undo the 2 bolt on the center link
Separate the the center link from the pitman arms
90% of the time it does not want to come out, use a jack to lift the tranny a little
Slide it out
Old and new
All installed
