Project: 357ti

As most know, my 325ti was rearended so i bought the clubsport that was ever so gracefully sideswiped/tboned into a curb and totalled. This brings us to project number THREE.... :suicide:

Finally picking the car up on Tuesday after being dicked out of the chassis in california. This one is black on black/greay and is a sport. Comes with some aftermarket rims, exhaust, clears, 4cylinder with auto transmission, and some other stuff that isnt appealing to me.

For drivetrain. 5.7L LS1 from a 1998 Camaro. As for the drivetrain, i will be mating a lightweight flywheel, Ls7 clutch kit, and T56 6spd manual transmission. From the back of the tranny, i will be having a custom driveshaft made to mate up with my 4.10 Limited slip differential. The mounting plate on the ti is failrly weak so ill be using the non-ti mounting plate and welding in some custom mounts to hang the differential. E30 6cyl axles will be used to distribute power to some pretty decent rubber. Ill be doing most of the custom parts myself as well as employing a few others for other small projects that go hand in hand with this major build.

Currently i have some new M3 brakes to go on the car that i traded for my old Mille Miglia MM-2s. These will do for the time being or until i realize i need a real bbk.

The rear end will be comprised of a 4.10 E30 differential, 6cyl axles, non-ti multipoint diff cover, custom welded mounting tabs with reinforcements, custom driveshaft, and a few other new aftermarket parts and bushings.

Once the car is here, i can source my T56 6spd tranny as well as order my tires for test fitment, then the rims themselves. Anyone want to donate?

I search all over the US. I start in my area then just fan out from there. Most things ill travel to pick up myself, but shipping isnt out of order, hence shipping the chassis here from Socal.

So i ask once more, what happend to the clubsport? I see a wheel not sitting right? Rear ended?
