    Vortex generators?

    Anyone out there using vortex generators on their e36's?

    Been reading about this topic recently, but am unsure if this is considered legal in SCCA or NASA.

    It really depends on the rules. I can say not IT legal otherwise I'd have done this to my hardtop on my Z3.

    Anything's legal in GTS. And they're legal in BMWCCA as long as they're not higher that the tallest point of the roofline. Not sure about SCCA

    I put them on Watts car, but used smaller ones. AirTab has a nice product out now, I'd suggest them, just make sure you get the right placement and make them legal (under the roof line).
