Thanks! I finally sold my opel GT project and made room for the 325. (Got rid of a chassis rotiserie so I have TONs of room compared to before lol).

The RS is my Fiance's, but yep, it's ours. It's the one I was bitching about a month ago because timing belts suck lol.

however, as Jermey clarkson said, I've mended something. (new timing belt, timing belt componets, waterpump, tstat, head gaskets, other gaksets, new/used heads). I must say, I like how easy they are to work on, but I prefer timing chains :P

I went to the junkyard today to try and find a hatch cover and fog lights for me 318ti. Couldn't find either since all the cars were stripped, but I found 2 good window switches to replace my temperamental ones. Turns out I have ones with a green bottom and I grabbed ones with a yellow bottom...

New brake rotors, pads, hardware, hoses, caliper seals, Koni struts and shocks, upper mounts, H&R springs, tie rods, front LCAs, FCABs, fog lights done this weekend. Also fixed up some crude headlight wiring from the previous owner. Everything went smooth except installing the springs on the struts, because of the shorter shaft length on the Konis. Took some fiddling/cursing.

And then the car decided not to start, because German precision. So I had to drive the track car to a wedding. Anyone else ever worn a suit with a 6 point harness?

Overhauled the entire damn cooling system and had it finished off with a fan clutch delete and electric fan install.

I can drive reassured the mechanical fan won't kill my car...

You did not just complain that a 2.5 RS timing belt is hard did you? Subaru's are about the easiest belt to do!

Not mine but I get the honor of working on this clean M3 today!

While in the computer with our Autologic I found the fun button

I soooo want to push it...... I'm going to find out if I can do this on my 328is.

decided to sell or junk my 92 325i. it just cost too much to rebuild. I have too many memories in this car and I wanted to save it. it will be hard to watch it go.

When it fails, and you have to replace heads, which means you have to pull the engine, then yes

Even pulling the engine is only about an hour ordeal lol.

No joke .. you can unbolt the motor from the tranny in about 10 minutes ... not like an e36 where you cant even find the bolts in that amount of time. Lol

Pulled the skirts and fenders to see how much rust it really had. Driver's side was shockingly flawless. Passenger side, the lip where the fender bolts to was perforated and surface rust on the body and around the jack point. In the rear the rust was very isolated, mostly around the rear skirt clip. I think it's within my skill set to fix, especially since none of it is visible from next to the car.

Got my bimmerworld exhaust installed. Looks wise is just a billion times better, sounds way nicer. A bit louder than I wanted, but I think its one of the quieter aftermarket exhausts. Sounds amazing at WOT.

Installed fog lights, buffed headlights, polished exhaust tips, installed new washer nozzles on the 328. The 318 got factory fog light cover plates, new gas cap and mass air boot.

well I am not allowed to get rid of the car. as expensive as the project will be, my wife refuses to let the car go. She will not sign the title over to anyone. so the car is here to stay. might take a few years to finish though.

Got some good news from a cooling system test. It's not my headgasket! Time to buy a new radiator.

I need to do mine. Seats are great just starting to get a little dry nothing that's not treatable.

Getting the leather warm and wiping it down with a moist cloth really helps with dry leather. Then give it the treatment.
