Well, it has been a long time since I was here, let me show you why.

This is the last thing that I did to my E36, and also, the last thing that I will ever do to it...

Three flips end over end, Engine up against firewall, right front wheel/strut completely separated, 6 weeks in hospital, yadda yadda...
I assume the car has been melted down and turned into a blue Prius by now....

I changed the front shocks. I also pulled off a piece of plastic that was covering something on the underside of the car. I have no idea what it is that was covered, but the plastic was hanging down, so it was not doing its job anyway...

    The protected part was cylindrical...

^ Thats funny. I just installed a rollbar on the e36, and while underneath, I too removed that pc of plastic that was hanging and not covering anything in particular........I also installed smoked side/corner markers, and I am cutting the diffuser to fit around my big ass exhaust.

I got stuck inside, because the drivers door became stuck closed....

I'm assuming the lock actuator is broken?

Put her in a car show today, only other roundel was on a bike, so yesterday I cleaned and polished. Thursday I replaced the left side projector lens and realized when I opened the hood that one hood strut was shot. Off to E-bay, they'll be here thursday.

I did that once. It was a cloudy afternoon with a large chance of showers. I locked my keys in my car and I couldn't get in. I had to put the top up to prevent the interior from getting wet......

    On a serious note,
How did you manage to lock your keys inside the car?

i'm not sure if its an AT feature or what, but on my car, when i turn the key to acc the doors lock automatically. i was messing with some stuff, and i turned the key on and inadvertently shut the door behind myself...as soon as i heard it shut i stopped dead in my tracks...and cursed myself its all good now though...just know that i can break into any e36 sedan (framed door windows) with a flat head screw driver and a wire hanger

    ducky, you card

As per my usual habit, I yelled at my car after I couldn't get the starter in today. It's a total bitch to get, and it doesn't help that the intake manifold is on the motor. (really don't want to take it off)

But in a few days when my fuel injectors get back from being serviced I should have it in and the front end re-constructed.

I might actually have a running car, finally!

I used to leave a door wedge and coat hanger taped under my bumper

Just put my Momo steering wheel in and did a oil change (upped to 15 50)
