People who say the vette is a POS are way off the reservation if you ask me. The mph difference in the 1/4 mile is anywhere from 6-9mph so no, the 540 would get chewed up and spit out badly.
Frankly, I love the interior of the vette and the only thing I would change is the radio and maybe a steering wheel but that is it.
