I discovered a problem today involving the BC button on the turn signal. The computer button that is used to scroll through the various read outs including avg. speed, km's remaining in the tank, clock, outside temp. etc. The problem lies in the other read out that gives an avg. fuel consumption per 100km's. Up untill yesterday it read 9.6L/100kms. Now it reads out a constantly varying Litres/100km number that doesn't seem to correspond with my current driving. If I hold down the button it flashes a --- and then goes back to the varying readout. What I am looking for is the constant 9.6L/100km's which I have been used to.
It seems like something is fubarred with this, can someone give me some advice or something to replace?? THANKS!!

Holding the button down while on a readout will reset it.

That different number you are seeing is the consumption at that exact moment, and then it'll start averaging out more. If you let it go for a few more days... or week it should get close to your actual average depending on how much you drive.

+1. When you reset it, the computer has nothing to base the average on other than current driving since it gets rid of all the past data. Once it builds up more info, it will give a more constant reading.
