For that money, you can build an E21 to run circles around that one. And btw, one that will problably look better!

People got some nerve asking that much for a car that doesn't even have the stock driver seat! There is a much better Alpina on ebay now going for about $12K:

C1 parts are harder to find than B6 parts, especially engines.

You are kidding yourself if you think the reserve on that B6 is anything less than $20,000, it definately will not reach reserve at 12k.

That one sold previously for $26k I believe. That was the first Alpina I fell in love with, I have lots of pics of that one on my computer. Beautiful, and perfect example of an E21.

both great looking cars but for that kind of money I would just toss an s50b32 in my car with an AA twin screw on it and call it a day.

it's not about power for price. That is an unmolested piece of E21 history. That's why we love it, and someone will pay that price for it.
