M3 Starting Issue
My M3 is having a problem with starting. It rolls but does not start. I have already taken it to the garage just for them to put it on the computer and reset the "security code issue", so they call it. I asked how this came about and they told me that maybe the doors were kept open for a long period.
I did the 5 step OBC check engine light (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=12969328#) test, and came up with code 1281 Control Unit Memory Supply, I think! I am pretty sure of it really, cause it kept repeating itself until I turned the key off that is, after about 6 times.
Has anyone encountered this, and have you came to a conclusion or know how to fix the problem???
