What is so bad about E21?

People fear what they don't understand.

e21's suck. That's the only way I can explain the fact that I have owned 13 of them, and I'm going to look at another one this weekend. Now if they only had as much character as an e36........

I bought my e21 because i love the way they look and im tired of having the same thing as everyone else.

I have owned 3 e36s and 1 e30. Loved all of them so far, Im a bimmer guy for life. I will keep my M3 for a while as a daily driver. Then maybe once im finished restoring (dumping money into) the e21 i may get a hybrid honda:confused for a dd.

I certainly like the E21 because of its character. It does look different (in a vintage sort of way) and it has a different feel to it. It has very decent number of aftermarket vendors and a slew of OEM vendors. Parts are not that expensive. And it can be made to run and handle with the best of them.

From my perspective, the most underrated and overlooked BMW out there - and I'm not complaining one bit!!! It’s time will come – be glad you own one when that happens!
