Has anyone had a clear bra put on their brand new Mini? A friend had it put on her Z3M Coupe and swears by it. Is that something that a dealership can add for me, or do I need to find someone who specifically installs it?

The dealership will do it, or you can have it done by an independent. If it's like most things, the dealership will overcharge you. Should be ~$700.

My '05 doesn't have it, but when I eventually fix all the chips and repaint it, it will have it. Everyone I talk to that has it also swears by it.

Go with an independent...The guy I used installed for East Bay BMW...and he is way cheaper than the dealer...If you need tint, better to do both at the same time.

Oh...and it is totally worth it. I have my headlights, front bumper,front bonnet, hood scoop, fog lights, and front of my side view mirrors. Some guys get the whole bonnet done.
