I recently ordered 2 pairs of spacers from ECS tuning. Their prices are right in line with Vorshlag and H&R spacers, but what appealed to me about ECS's in-house spacers was the black finish.
I bought 5mm front and 12.5mm rear spacers through the web site. Fairly typical online order system; order went off without a hitch. After placing the order, it was nice to see that they have a fairly advanced order status page that keeps you up to date with the status of your order, including all the information you submitted (such as what you ordered, addresses, etc.).
I was fairly impressed by this point. Spacers shipped the next day and I had them by the end of the week.
When the spacers arrived to me, I noticed the big spacers looked a little bit larger than I expected. I checked the part number on the stickers on the spacers, and it was correct, #254. However, stamped on the spacer was #255, their 15mm spacers.
I called up ECS and spoke with John Potter. I explained the situation to him. It indeed had been a mix up with the right sticker being on the wrong spacer.
John immediately emailed me a call tag for the wrong pair of spacers, and within an hour the correct pair of 12.5mm spacers was already in transit to me.
John was so friendly and the transaction so painless and easy I was in awe of their great customer service. All in all I am very pleased with ECS. The spacers look fantastic by the way. Keep up the good work guys.
