Anyone use this new product from Turtle Wax ?

I quickly stopped using turtle wax years ago as the amount of white powder it left on the car annoyed me, since then i have been an avid Meguiars supporter.

This new stuff they have has caught my attention though, mainly because you can use the same polish on any surface ie. wheels, black mouldings, paint etc... It can also be applied in the sun to a hot surface...

I absolutely love it. I use the paste wax version and, yes, you can get it on black trim and it'll whip right off. The shine is like a mirror; it looks like water is beading up on a sheet of glass between the water and your car.

I use it, but I'm a little bit :az about it.
The shine looks a little synthetic, and it doesn't last that long

Ok otc product. Easy on and off and doesn't stain trim; however, the durability is pretty terrible.

I think its good for using during your normal washes just to keep your finish looking good.

I have used the paste version, and apparently they revamped it with a new Quick Detailer with hydrophobic abilities to it. Personally, up until I tried Meguiar's UQD, I thought the ICE detailer was some of the best stuff money could buy, and now with the revamped version, it is a good competitor for UQD.

Overall, I gotta admit that it is pretty good stuff, and considering just how EASY it is to use, especially the liquid polish, the durability could even be neglectable.

Try it, and if you like it, great. If not, than chalk it up as another detailing experience, but hold onto it. I found that I didn't like the paste version at first, until months later I would take it out again, and found myself liking it. (shrugs) this stuff is like candy! Your tastes always change!

That's odd; I not only love how the shine looks but it lasts for months on my car, and mine is 15 years old.

Must just be another one of those expectations/personal taste things.

For me, it's easy to apply, easy to remove, doesn't leave marks anywhere, the shine is mirror like, and it lasts a long time between waxes.
