My roommate and I are thinking about planning a Comic-Con run this year (July 23rd through 27th).. I've never been. Anybody else going? Anyone know a good hotel that we could find a room in?

Anybody up for showing me around town/bars? Comic-Con is 9am-7pm during the days, so we will be looking for possible things to do at night.. help me out. :buttrock Lets hang out. I haven't got the chance to meet many of you from the San Diego area yet.

You would probably want to stay in downtown. In downtown I like The W, Grand Hyatt, The US Grant and Omni to mention a few. More recently there is also the Hard Rock Hotel down there now. I'm down for hanging somewhere in the Gaslamp, not really into the comic book scene though.

Cool.. thanks for the reccomendations.

As the time approaches, I'll probably nail down where to hang out and hopefully we can meet up. :)

:rofl I was just messing around.. Anchorman. :rolleyes Which Im sure its much like saying Frisco and such to people that live in San Francisco.. :shifty (I think they get mad at that.. Idk why.) Ooh and I just noticed it could also be San Diegans.

:dunno

And damn.. been lookin at hotel prices down that way. Ouch. I forgot how much hotels cost in CA.

not really into the comic book scene though.

It's more than comics despite the name ;)

It's more of a pop-culture festival.
