So I ordered (sight unseen) my M3 coupe with bamboo NON-extended. My rationale was that I love a black interior and black dash but the bamboo seats were nice and the contrast would POP.
I'm waiting for my delivery and I heard that my shift knob won't be leather, black or bamboo (i would assume it would be black of some material regardless of interior color choice)
I think this is wrong. I hope it will be leather! What about visors and other surfaces? I currently believe that the extended leather just adds leather up the knee-area belly of the dash and along the center console. But $1100 is a lot of coin for that simple addition.
I'm all happy if my seats, door inserts, armrests, and shift knob are leather. Can anyone with a non-extended leather car speak about the knob?
